WHAT DOES A CAPTAIN DO?

Captains are in charge of their team. They do it all, from pick the name of the team to register all the members. If you must make a substitution for one of your teammates, please do before September 17th to avoid any last minute confusion for all!

Waivers must be signed by all participants under 18. You can download the waiver here. If you are under 18 please either bring a notarized copy to packet pickup or come with a guardian to the Packet pick up locations.

If you are on the course WITHOUT a bib number you will be escorted to the exit, we cannot take any chances with safety.

You must start in your team’s assigned wave for your time to post correctly and to qualify for any prizes. Make sure you know your wave – it’s on the Buffalo Wild Wings bag you pick up with your packet.

HOW DO YOU TRAIN FOR THE DELAWARE MUD RUN?

Start slow. Don’t try and train for this all at once. Progressively increase your distance each week until you are up to a 5k distance. Remember, most of the race will be through mud and obstacles, so be ready!

IF I WANT TO GET INVOLVED BUT CAN’T RUN THE RACE, CAN I VOLUNTEER?

Absolutely, we need volunteers to assist before, during and after the event. Please contact demudrun@gmail.com.

DAY OF THE EVENT

WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT START?

CAN MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY COME OUT TO WATCH?

Absolutely! And there’s no charge for Spectators

PREFERRED PARKING

Preferred Parking will give you a Preferred Entrance and Exit the day of the event. You will only be permitted to tailgate in the Preferred Parking area. These Preferred Parking passes will be included in your Race Page, locations to be announced.

$5 for General Parking, but, you must get your parking passes in advance. They can be purchased by team captains when registering or under the Captains Link to Manage Your Team. Teams get one General Parking Pass for free, all other General Parking Passes are $5 each. Spectators can purchase General Parking Passes, for $5 each, at the Packet Pick up Locations during the week of September 20-25th. Given the number of cars we expect for this event, we want to protect our guests as best we can.No loitering or tailgating in the General Parking area will be permitted.

CAN YOU TAILGATE?

Yes, tailgating is permitted only in the Preferred Parking area. No tailgating or loitering in the General Parking area.

CAN I BRING MY RV?

We are going to be a bit tight on parking spaces so RV's are not permitted. If you show up in an RV you will not be permitted through the gates.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

As much or as little as you want. Just be aware that you probably won’t be bringing the clothes home with you. It’s probably not a bad idea to bring a bag to put them in along with a change of clothes. Our suggestions would be long pants to protect your knees while crawling through the mud, sneakers or shoes that will go up to your ankles for support, etc. NO bare feet. We will have shirts, shorts, and towels for sale the day of the race also. Costumes are encouraged! We suggest you THEME YOUR TEAM. Check out these links for ideas. www.customink.com and jokes-R-wild

WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE ON THE DAY OF MUD RUN?

You will need to check in at the Event table, then prepare yourself for the most challenging fun you will ever have.

WHAT’S THE WEATHER GOING TO BE LIKE?

We can’t predict the weather, but remember it’s September. Sun is good, rain is fine, either way, it’s on!
